10:00am:  French Mass honoring all Franco-American Veterans and the Franco-American Community, St. Mary Magdalen, 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsboro, MA. The public is invited. Free Pancake Breakfast in the church hall after the Mass at which time the Franco-American of the Year 2017 will be announced.

6:30pm to 8:30pm:   Family Bingo Night in French at Ste Marguerite d’Youville Parish, (Ste Thérèse Hall), 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA, sponsored by Royal Arcanum ACA and Club Richelieu of Lowell.  1 card $2.00 and 3 cards $5.00. The public is invited.

3:00pm to 7:30pm:  Rediscover St. Jean-Baptiste Church 741 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA.  No elevator.  Tour the Romanesque Revival St. Jean-Baptiste Church built in 1890 as the first French Canadian Church in Lowell.  While the Archdiocese removed its pews, many of the stained glass windows and other religious items when it closed in 2004.  The circular, elaborately designed stained glass window still towers over a third-level balcony with organ pipes still in place.  Come see this beautiful church.

3:30pm:  Prayer in honor of St. Jean-Baptiste at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsboro, MA.

4:30pm to 6:30pm:  Spaghetti Supper at St. Mary Magdalen Parish Hall (downstairs from Church), 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsboro, MA. Adults $8.00, Seniors $7.00, Children under 12 years of age $4.00, Family Plan $25.00. Basket raffles will also take place during the evening.

Saturday, June 24, 2017   St. Jean-Baptiste Day

9:15am:  Memorial ceremony at the Little Canada Monument, corner of Aiken and Hall Streets, Lowell, MA. There is no charge and the public is invited.

10:00am:  Flag raising ceremony at the Lowell City Hall, Merrimack Street. An open air reception will follow. In case of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the mayor’s reception Hall. There is no charge and the public is invited.

6:00pm to 8:00pm:  La Famille LeBlanc from Livermore, Maine will present music that the Franco-Americans love. Soirée Franco-Américaine at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway St., Lowell, MA. Admission is free and the public is invited. The raffle drawing will be held this evening.
